We’re excited to announce that we’ve been cooking up a new Scarf offering called ‘Tasting Plate’, a free two-day hospitality training course for Red Cross clients.
It’ll cover all the essential hospo basics – from coffee making to bar training, wine knowledge to interview practice, and the all-important Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate. It will also offer training sessions on order of service and 3-plate carry, resume-writing skills, and understanding your work rights in the hospitality industry.
Running in November, Tasting Plate is designed as a pathway into Scarf’s 10-week program and other employment programs, or to provide these young people with a platform to launch straight into jobs if they’re ready.
